Home Infusion Therapy

Home infusion therapy allows patients to administer immunoglobulin (Ig) at home when it's convenient to their schedules.

Vivaglobin® is the first and only FDA-approved subcutaneous (Sub-Q) immunoglobulin (Ig) therapy indicated for primary immunodeficiency disorder (PIDD) in the United States. Vivaglobin® offers patients the opportunity to self-administer immunoglobulin at home (with appropriate training), which may reduce interruptions in work, school, and social schedules.

Vivaglobin® therapy is infused into the fatty tissue just below the skin on a weekly basis using a small, portable infusion pump. Infusion sites include the thighs, upper arms, stomach, or hips—anywhere you can "pinch an inch."

Learning how to infuse Sub-Q Ig at home is simple, and your doctor or nurse can begin to teach you this process during your first infusion.
