Infusion Therapy at Home

You and your family can be extremely busy, and traditional IVIg infusion therapy can be time-consuming. But Ig replacement therapy needn't take away from your quality time.

Vivaglobin® is a subcutaneous (Sub-Q) immunoglobulin (Ig) therapy that makes self-administration possible in the comfort of your home, giving you greater freedom and flexibility in your treatment schedule. Home infusion therapy may reduce interruptions in work, school, and social schedules, allowing you to schedule treatments around your life—not schedule your life around appointments.

Sub-Q Ig therapy is infused into the fatty tissue just below the skin, instead of into a vein. Sub-Q Ig needles are small and are available in varying lengths to accommodate different patient needs.

Sub-Q Ig can be infused on a weekly basis while you’re at home, at work or on-the-go, using a small, portable infusion pump. Infusion sites include the thighs, upper arms, stomach, or hips—anywhere you can "pinch an inch."

Learning how to administer Sub-Q Ig home infusion therapy is simple, and your doctor or nurse can begin to teach you this process during your first infusion.
