When your child starts Vivaglobin® therapy, it’s helpful talk about primary immunodeficiency (PI) with other family members, your child’s friends, and their parents and teachers.

When others are aware of your child’s condition, they will understand why it’s important to:

  • Minimize your child’s exposure to other children who are sick
  • Help your child practice good hygiene and hand washing
  • Be able to identify when your child is not feeling well

The following pages offer suggestions on ways to talk about PI with people in your child’s life, as well as offering downloadable content you can use to inform your child’s school administrator, teachers, and school nurses.
